Meet Michayla

I’m Michayla, a photographer based out of the Wheelersburg/Portsmouth OH area. With that being said, I’m originally a KY girlie & do frequently visit, so I’m always open to booking sessions around the Greenup and Lewis County areas as well.

I’m big into astrology, and if anyone knows anything about a Sagittarius, it’s our love for adventure and traveling that keeps our fire burning. I love visiting new places and seeing new things, so I’m open to traveling for sessions, within reason, with an additional cost depending on how far away the location for the session is from me.

I originally discovered my love for photography before I had the blessing of becoming a mother to my son, but over the years I had forgotten how much joy it brought to me. I have had the pleasure of falling in love with photography all over again, and it’s truly been life changing for me.

Now, I have an 8 year old son who loves to tag along to sessions with me and likes to be my little helper. It’s so special for me to be able to share something I love so much, with the person that I love most.

It’s so important to have friends and family who help build you up, and I’ve been so fortunate to have so many friends, family members, and fellow photographers there to help build me up to this point. I love all of you, and I’m forever grateful for all of the support and love you have poured into me. 🤍

I’m such an easy going person and have a passion for ensuring others see themselves the way I see them. I’ll be your biggest hype man and cheerleader. I love the real and raw moments, it’s truly what I live for.

Ultimately, my goal as a photographer is to ensure everyone feels good about themselves and make sure they have an enjoyable experience for their sessions. I love being able to capture the pure happiness of an individual or family. I love fun. I love positivity. I love building up the community around me.
